South Lake Union has a lot of transportation options, and it's about to get a couple more (see Flex Scooter and Bike Share).

This got me curious as to how people choose to get around when they have an alternative to the single driver commute.

So what is it? Walking? Biking? Kayaking? SLUTing? Busing? Vespa...umm...ing? Or does the thought of giving up your ride give you the willies?

And a bonus question, will you use flex scooter or bike share once the programs are put in place?

Walking, driving, and busing, in that order. If there was a bike share program in place, I would use it, but probably more for recreation than anything.

Walking whenever possible. Commute via bus, occasional use of zipcar. We get out of town via train or traditional car rental.

I think I would use the bike share programs if they are convenient enough.

I guess I am a little late to reply, but I would be very interested in a Bike Share program. Flex Scooters sound great too... Giving up my "ride" is unfortunatly not an option, as I work in sales and need to be able to dart around the Sound quickly and often times at the last minute. Luckily my commute is about 4 minutes (from Eastlake to KING 5).

I do see these option working into my evenings and weekends though, my only concern is still safety in the area at night.
