Attention SLU Small Business Owners!! - Let's Start Our Very Own Bazar!

Hi guys. I had this wacky idea yesterday while visiting a friend who owns a fantastic flower shop in Belltown: why not have a bazar right here in SLU on Sundays for our resident neighbors to shop and have fun? Small business owners could show their wares, we'd have live music, food and fun! And we could stage it right here in our parking lot (assuming my landlord goes along).

What do you think? Worth chatting about over a cup o' joe?

I have no business, but you also might try for tree-lined 8th Ave. It dead-ends into Denny Park so there's never much traffic anyway.

thanks, JD. I was thinking of keeping it off the streets, as that requires permitting. My thought was to hold it in our parking lot, which is fairly empty on Sundays.

We'll see how this progresses - lots of hurdles.

I think this is a great idea--count me in! It might be just what SLU needs on Sundays...plus, most of my "wares" are quite portable :)
