- Living the SLU dream. I'm a freak and commute to Bellevue for work, but I'm adamant about NOT living on the Eastside. I love living in SLU--the ability to walk anywhere we like is fantastic.
My fiance and I live in Alcyone Apartment--which is a great apartment community. Our only complaint is the noisy band practice studio next to our alley-facing apartment. BUT, we do have a great deck with a view of the Space Needle--so I guess you can't have everything you want. :)

Jeff and Kyoko said… - We are with you. I am concerned about the architectural feel of the new developments and hope we can have more buildings with as much character as the Alcyone. Amli and Alley 24 are both quite dismal.
